Position Overview

Compensation:
$13.00/hour for this role


The Retail Store Associate is tasked with delivering exceptional customer service, accurately managing customer transactions, and effectively merchandising and restocking items.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service during all interactions within the store.
  • Process transactions accurately, including weighing items, packaging products, and applying promotional discounts. Ensure accurate recording of prices, departments, and total purchases on the cash register.
  • Execute cash handling procedures with precision, including balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels on shelves and ensure the presentation of merchandise is visually appealing. Ensure pricing accuracy for all items.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of a clean and safe shopping environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 months of experience in retail is preferred; experience in the food service sector is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the department, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
