About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient coordination of receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.
  • Ensure team members are actively involved in safety training and discussions to reduce opportunities for injury and property damage.
  • Lead and develop a team in goal setting and performance for the shipping department to support Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure all raw material movements throughout the plant are executed by the team to ensure quality products are line-side to avoid delays on production assets.
  • Work with team members to optimize the inbound and outbound shipping processes and manage warehouse activities.
  • Coordinate efforts with other shifts, initiate and direct continuous improvement programs, and maintain a positive employee relations.
Requirements
  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and availability to work 2nd shift.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in management or a related field.
  • Experience in employee relations, progressive discipline, and counseling of employees.
  • Experience in a supply chain/logistics function or inventory management.
  • Experience with data entry and inventory software systems.
