Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a mission-driven Technical Systems Architect who is enthusiastic about system design, architecture, specification, evaluation, integration, testing, and adaptation. As part of our distributed engineering team, you will play a crucial role in defining the architecture and requirements for custom applications and cutting-edge R&D solutions tailored to our clients' needs. Your role will involve working within a multi-disciplinary agile team alongside developers, UX designers, testers, and other essential roles.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical guidance and ensuring requirement clarity across development teams.
  • Managing requirements through creation, tracking, flow down, coverage, verification tracking, and compliance matrices.
  • Formulating test procedures to formally validate system requirements for acceptance events.
  • Breaking down system requirements and collaborating with multi-disciplinary, distributed teams to create efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Supporting the development, implementation, and verification of mission capabilities.
  • Participating in the planning and execution of program milestone events, including customer meetings and formal testing events.
  • Conducting software testing events and generating documentation of test results.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Strong cross-organizational communication skills with the ability to thrive in a small team, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in developing requirements.
  • Experience in creating test procedures that verify requirements.
  • Ability to establish traceability between requirements, code, and verification.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile Software Development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or CASP).
  • Experience with automated testing for formal requirement verification.
  • Knowledge of government Site Acceptance processes and procedures.
  • Experience working with software-defined interfaces utilizing XML or JSON.
  • Familiarity with SATCOM or GEOINT systems.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with virtual teams.
  • Business acumen with the capability to balance technical requirements with business objectives.
  • Understanding of Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for the U.S. Department of Defense.
  • Experience in the operational deployment of multi-product baselines and functionalities.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $195,000. Your specific level and base salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
