Position: Recovery Advocate Supervisor

Program: Family Treatment Center
Reports To: Recovery Services Manager

Job Summary:

The Recovery Advocate Supervisor oversees the Recovery Advocates and supports the Recovery Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, hire, orient, train, and evaluate Recovery Advocates and RA Leads, focusing on coaching and development.
  • Conduct individual supervision and team meetings.
  • Ensure 24-hour departmental coverage, assigning tasks and schedules.
  • Assist clients with recovery services, including transportation and medication administration.
  • Facilitate problem-solving for staff and act as a liaison with other departments.
  • Participate in program planning and evaluation as part of the clinical team.
  • Assist with training and scheduling related to client activities.
  • Organize resource materials and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to provide comprehensive client care.
  • Model supportive behavior consistent with recovery principles.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly on multiple tasks.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Must pass background checks and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred experience in a substance use or mental health facility.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and gender-responsive care is a plus.
  • Experience with families and parenting women preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb stairs.
