Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Health Center at Standifer Place. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and participate in the implementation of occupational therapy techniques for patient rehabilitation
  • Evaluate, recommend, and provide treatments to patients with physical, cognitive, or psychosocial disabilities
  • Monitor and interpret patients' reactions to treatment
  • Supervise occupational therapy personnel and provide training as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to develop patient care plans
  • Provide effective fiscal management and caseload management
  • Perform public relations functions and represent the organization professionally
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Program
  • Initial certification or eligibility for certification by the NCBOT
  • Licensed, certified, or registered in the state of practice
  • Thorough knowledge of occupational therapy principles, methods, and equipment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and medical staff
Working Conditions
  • Able to lift 50-60 pounds as needed
  • Able to transfer, lift, and guard patients safely
  • Able to bend, stoop, squat, and lift numerous times daily
