Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to support our optometrists in providing high-quality eye care services. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care, maintain accurate records, and ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-tests and gather patient medical histories
  • Assist with visual acuity testing and lensometry
  • Perform retinal imaging and other diagnostic tests
  • Maintain and clean examination equipment
  • Educate patients on contact lens care and eyewear options
  • Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a similar role preferred
  • Strong understanding of optometric procedures and equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Certification as an Optometric Technician (COA or COT) is a plus
