Operations Manager, Pathology Division

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Pathology Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality results, and providing effective leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess future personnel and capital equipment needs, monitoring and responding to variances against budget.
  • Maintain procedure manuals, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Coordinate administrative and personnel-related duties, including scheduling, leave management, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and Joint Commission requirements.
  • Develop and implement organizational and departmental policies, procedures, and goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Histotechnology, Cytotechnology, Medical Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Familiarity with CAP, CLIA, and Joint Commission requirements, as well as State and Federal laws.
  • Current certification or registration as a Medical Technologist, Histotechnologist, Cytotechnologist, or Pathologist Assistant preferred.
