Golf Course Operations Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Golf Course Operations Assistant to join our team at the City of Hampton, VA. As a Golf Course Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality to players of the Woodlands Golf Course.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the course for flow of play and enforce on-course rules and regulations.
  • Tend to player inquiries and needs, ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with course maintenance and upkeep, including monitoring and reporting any issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to player feedback.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in golf course operations or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
