Job Summary
As a Medical Care Provider at Baptist Health Urgent Care, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional medical care to patients of all ages with various acute and chronic medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers.
- Diagnose, treat, and educate patients while ensuring the highest standard of care and service.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.
- Perform medical assessment, treatment, management, and follow-up of clinic patients.
- Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for clinic patients.
- Maintain clinical core competency and adhere to medical policy and professional standards.
- Participate in continuing education programs and contribute to the development of policies affecting medical practice, quality of care, and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience as a Medical Care Provider is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
- State License as an APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse).
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the AANP or ANCC.
- DEA license or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
