About the Role:

The Healthcare Nutritionist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines. This includes monitoring and documenting residents' nutritional status and progress. You will also provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff, as well as collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice
• Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
