Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleaning of floors, hallways, windows, and staircases through sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Address scuff marks and stains on walls with spot cleaning techniques.
  • Execute monthly floor waxing as necessary.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash bins and recycling containers.
  • Conduct comprehensive cleaning of all restroom facilities, ensuring toilets, sinks, counters, showers, and bathtubs are sanitized.
  • Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces, including light fixtures and appliances.
  • Dust and organize living spaces, ensuring linens are washed and beds are made.
  • Keep outdoor areas, such as parking lots and entrances, free from debris.
  • Regularly inspect vacant units to guarantee they are clean and odor-free.
  • Disinfect and sanitize high-touch areas as needed.
  • Report any damages or required repairs to the supervisor promptly.
  • Cleaning responsibilities extend to various facilities, including offices, fitness centers, and communal rooms.
  • Ensure exterior cleanliness by washing windows and maintaining outdoor lighting fixtures.
  • This role may require driving for company purposes, using either a company vehicle or a personal vehicle for work-related tasks.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) is required.
  • Experience in the cleaning or facilities maintenance field is essential.
  • A solid work history of 1-3 years is required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are critical for this position.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
Compensation
