Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Labor Performance: Oversee the daily activities of labor teams, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Operate Maintenance Equipment: Operate various types of maintenance equipment, including asphalt patching and sealcoating machines.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Communicate daily with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that project status is up-to-date and that all necessary information is shared.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety, and that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Manage Materials and Equipment: Manage the inventory of materials and equipment, ensuring that all necessary supplies are on hand and that equipment is properly maintained.
  • Develop and Implement Solutions: Develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity, and to reduce costs.
  • Build Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the level of service provided.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as one to three years of related experience and/or training.
  • Industry Knowledge: A broad understanding of the asphalt maintenance industry, including the preparation and installation of sealcoating, asphalt repairs, cracksealing, and parking lot marking work.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply concepts of basic geometry and to develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
