Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

Actalent is seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in the pre-analytical and post-analytical processes of testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and process specimens for testing
  • Enter patient requisitions and labels specimens for transport
  • Package and prepare specimens for transport to the main lab
Requirements:
  • Comfortable working with human specimens, including blood, urine, stool, tissue, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.)
  • Previous laboratory experience
