Locums General Surgery Opportunity in North Carolina

Coverage Needed:
We are seeking a skilled General Surgeon to provide coverage in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient care and be able to manage an average of 5 patients per shift.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be board certified and have completed a fellowship program. Additionally, they must hold an active NC medical license and possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
Call Details:
The locum tenens surgeon will be required to respond to calls within 30 minutes and have a call ratio of 1:4. They will also be expected to manage an average of 6 phone consults and 5-6 patients seen per 24-hour period.
EMR:
The hospital uses Medhost as their electronic medical record system.
