Salary Range: $70,000.00 To 100,000.00 Annually
Role Summary: This role entails overseeing and facilitating operations within the Commercial Glazing sector, specifically for Maxwon LLC, focusing on the Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level communication support to Project Managers and Installation teams.
- Coordinate installation schedules and manage logistics for material delivery to ensure timely project completion within budget and client satisfaction.
- Organize and participate in site measurements with Lead Glaziers.
- Supervise multiple field teams, ranging from 2 to 15 installers per project site, through Lead Glaziers.
- Mentor and develop installers to promote their professional growth.
- Ensure that the installation of Architectural Glass and Aluminum products complies with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Facilitate effective communication between field teams and office staff.
- Identify and resolve project-related issues or conflicts as they arise.
- Attend or arrange for Lead participation in foreman meetings, both onsite and offsite, as necessary.
- Ensure that Toolbox talks and Safety Trainings are conducted regularly.
- Schedule and conduct installation training sessions for installers or for new/unfamiliar project-specific products.
- Review and approve installer timesheets and time-off requests.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of Commercial Glass and Glazing systems and installation techniques, including Storefronts, Curtainwalls, Glass Railings, and Heavy Glass Walls.
- Ability to interpret and annotate construction drawings on various platforms.
- Proficient in measuring and laying out installation materials according to specifications.
- Familiarity with tools and machinery utilized in the Glass and Glazing industry (e.g., lifts, power cups).
- Prior experience in Glazing is essential.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Applications and Glazing Software (training provided for specific tools).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills are required.
- Professional communication and leadership abilities are necessary for effective interaction with team members, clients, and other trade partners.
- Must exhibit servant leadership qualities, with a commitment to training and guiding team members.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to company culture and industry practices.
