In this capacity, you will conduct precise modeling and simulation of satellite systems, aerial vehicles, and ISR sensor configurations for diverse governmental and commercial clients, with a particular emphasis on SIGINT technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on RF technologies and principles within the team.
- Create physics-based models for RF/SIGINT systems.
- Develop intricate scenarios for analysis.
- Design and evaluate aerospace systems and their associated payloads.
- Build tools for comprehensive data analysis.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in RF technology and industry standards.
- Present findings to senior management and clients.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient knowledge of Antenna Design, Receivers, and Link Budgets.
- Comprehensive understanding of geolocation techniques and principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to adapt existing models and scenarios to reflect innovative capabilities and solutions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience in developing or working with SIGINT system models.
- Coursework in astrodynamics, remote sensing, spacecraft design, aerospace systems operations, computational fluid dynamics, machine learning, or complex systems integration is advantageous.
- Capability to create standalone engineering tools/scripts using Python, MATLAB, and Excel.
- Experience in the design, development, and software implementation of complex mathematical algorithms.
