Position:
Precision Machining Specialist
Shift:
1st Shift/Full-Time: 8 to 10 hour days, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday mornings as needed.
Competitive Starting Pay:
$22.79 to $25.07 per hour; skills and experience considered when determining starting wage.
Working Conditions:
Indoor environment, no travel required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and operate various machining equipment (lathe, milling machine, etc.) to manufacture component parts for machinery.
- Assemble parts according to product blueprints.
- Interpret assembly drawings, specifications, bills of material, and material specifications.
- Prepare production machinery for manufacturing and short-run jobs.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments for setup, fitting, and checking work, as well as layout jigs and fixtures.
- Apply shop mathematics for related calculations.
- Conduct general maintenance on fabrication equipment.
- Continuously assess fabrication procedures and suggest improvements for manufacturing efficiency and quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: One to two years of technical college training in machine tool operation and setup.
- One to three years of relevant experience in fabrication operations and setup procedures.
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions and written materials related to fabrication setup, operation, and safety procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and capability to read blueprints are essential.- Proficiency in operating a variety of equipment, including hand tools, precision measuring instruments, saws, grinders, drills, mills, and lathes.
- Competence in operating manual and CNC lathes, mills, etc.BENEFITS:
