  • 2 weeks per month

On-Call Schedule:
  • Nights; 4 PM - 8 AM
  • Weekends: 24-hour Call

Callback Percentage:
Varies; typically only for emergencies.

  • % of Procedures per day: 10-15

Essential Procedures Required:
  • General Interventional Radiology experience is mandatory.
  • Stroke capability is secondary but must be proficient in the list of general IR procedures.
  • Required skills include: Neuro (head) stroke thrombectomy, Diagnostic vascular intervention, Angiography, Therapeutic vascular intervention, Angioplasty, Stenting, Thrombolytic and Embolization therapy.
  • Additional skills: Interventional (body, non-neuro), Vascular access devices/PICCS, Central lines, Port a cath insertions, IVC Filters, TIPS, Aspiration/drainage procedures.
  • Other necessary procedures: Percutaneous Needle Biopsies, Extractions, Abscess drainage, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Myelography.
  • Pain management procedures, Percutaneous Transhepatic Choleangiogram, Blood patch, Joint/epidural injections, Vertebroplasty, Arthrograms, Chest tube insertion, Uterine artery embolization, Liver Y90/TACE.
  • Gastrostomy tube insertion, Nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion, Renal fistulograms, & Cryoablation.
  • Preferred: Stroke capabilities & Neuro (Head) stroke thrombectomy.
  • EMR system: Epic
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are included.
Qualifications:
  • ND License or IMLC required.
  • Board Certified in Radiology.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination.
  • Completion of Residency/Fellowship.
  • Must possess the experience and ability to read and/or perform all Required Procedures.
  • General Interventional Radiology experience is essential.
