Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Trustaff Allied. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in assisting patients who are experiencing breathing difficulties due to various conditions.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of physiotherapy and cardiopulmonary disorders, with the ability to collaborate with the care team to create a treatment plan. You will perform diagnostic tests and provide respiratory care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with breathing difficulties due to conditions such as asthma, emphysema, and chronic respiratory disease
  • Perform diagnostic tests to determine the cause of respiratory issues
  • Collaborate with the care team to create a treatment plan for patients
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy and ventilation
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Extensive knowledge of physiotherapy and cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the care team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
