The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting the physician with the preparation of and the technical aspects of the role of the scrub person during surgical procedures. This position requires good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work with detailed, confidential material and follow directions with precision under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the physician with surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment
  • Handle and maintain surgical instruments
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process

Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent education
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Certification by an entity accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies required
  • 1-2 years of Operating Room experience preferred
