Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of software purchasing, licensing, and auditing to ensure compliance with licensing, security, and data privacy requirements.
  • Manage a team of software analysts and administrators to handle all aspects of the software compliance lifecycle, including contract review and approval.
  • Perform compliance reviews to ensure applications and servers are operating in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Actively communicate with software vendors to discuss products, pricing, support, and ways to improve the invoicing process.
  • Review contracts for inconsistencies with clauses, termination, and renewal terms and escalate to vendor or legal teams for additional analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Ten (10) years of purchasing and software compliance administration experience.
  • Knowledge of software upgrades/patch management best practices in an enterprise environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security-related issues and incidents for the ability to address and remediate problems as they arise.
  • Ability to solve problems independently, quickly, and completely and to communicate them clearly to management.
Work Environment:

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
