EEG Technologist

The Registered EEG Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the Neurophysiology Lab for stable patients and at the patient's bedside for critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of neurophysiological recordings and be able to perform standard and complex recordings on patient populations ranging from neonatal to adulthood and geriatrics.

• Perform routine EEGs and continuous video EEG monitoring at the bedside.
• Set-up, troubleshoot, and perform multiple technical procedures.
• Record all montages, sensitivity, and filter settings in record.
• Document patient movements, clinical events, and other activities that may produce real or artifactual waveforms.
• Perform daily quality assurance for all patients undergoing inpatient continuous EEG monitoring.
• Provide initial and maintenance training with all equipment in the EEG laboratory for new hires.
• Ensure that reports are entered into Meditech in a timely fashion.

• Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Meditech, Athena, and Microsoft Office skills required.
• Certification by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologist preferred.
