Medical Office Professional

The Optometric Technician plays a key role in the optometric practice by providing administrative support and assisting with patient care. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Take patient medical histories
• Prepare patients for examinations
• Administer tests prior to the eye exam
• Assist doctors during examinations
• Update and maintain Electronic Medical Records
• Process insurance claim forms
• Answer telephones and greet patients
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to provide enthusiastic and concise communication to meet/exceed customer expectations
• Experience with personal computers preferred
• Valid State Driver's License and State Minimum Insurance coverage preferred
