We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Appalachian Regional Healthcare, Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in patient care throughout nursing areas, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher, utilizing safe and efficient methods.
- Provide dispatch services and accurately document patient information.
- Act as an Observer for patients requiring constant observation, maximizing their safety and well-being.
- Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient unit functioning.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification preferred.
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
- Certified Nurse Aide in Kentucky.
- Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
- Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to move or lift patients and equipment.
- Ability to work independently within general guidelines.
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and written.
