Management Recruiters International invites applications for a Precision Engineering Consultant position to support our R&D, new product development, and production efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or optical engineering, with experience in related work areas. They will be proficient in CAD design using SolidWorks and PDM, as well as having knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analyses.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with optical alignment, metrology, and prototype builds, as well as experience with injection molded parts and 3D printing.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide consulting services to ensure optical system integrity and performance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products.
  • Design, simulate, and test mounting structures, alignment mechanisms, and housings.
  • Perform thermal and shock simulations and testing.
  • Support the development of stray light mitigation solutions.

Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 per year.
