- Continuously review and analyze clients' existing needs and future opportunities to identify new business opportunities.
- Pre-market assortment development and in-market line review to ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Develop new product launch strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with clients to develop brand positioning and category-based sales performance strategies.
- Track shifts in category performance and analyze top-selling styles to inform business decisions.
- Liaise with clients to develop promotional strategies, including product promotions, merchandising, and marketing concepts.
- Identify new and innovative brands for retail clients to expand their product offerings.
- Develop pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Develop digital and e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and revenue growth.
- Shop the market to analyze product offerings and assess relevance for specific client needs and objectives.
- Build and maintain a digital skillset in alignment with evolving industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, or Business.
- 5+ years of industry experience in retail, fashion, wholesale, and/or other relevant areas.
- Expertise and prior experience in Women's Apparel is required; experience in juniors and/or contemporary is a plus.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience in building compelling PowerPoint decks.
- Ability to travel as needed to visit client locations, tradeshows, and retail trips.
