Overview:

The Heavy Equipment Operator is essential for the safe and efficient handling of sand and gravel materials, while also ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to work ethics and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team or independently.
  • Operate various types of aggregate machinery in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Load machinery and vehicles with the necessary materials as requested.
  • Maintain an organized layout of materials on site.
  • Manage traffic flow within the operational area.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and actively support the company's safety initiatives.
  • Conduct inspections and perform maintenance on equipment.
  • Regularly clean machinery and workspaces to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in heavy equipment operation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be drug-free and able to meet physical demands, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy materials.
  • Ability to climb, sit, stand, and operate heavy machinery.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and work in varying weather conditions.
