CAHPS Director

MetroPlusHealth is seeking a highly skilled CAHPS Director to lead our quality improvement initiatives and drive excellence in member experience. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality improvement strategy that aligns with our organizational goals.

• Develop and implement a quality improvement strategy that focuses on CAHPS metrics and supports the organization's goal of providing top-tier experience to members.
• Manage all quality improvement strategy projects, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Hold internal stakeholders accountable for their respective CAHPS-related outcomes and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
• Design, implement, and evaluate CAHPS surveys to drive internal and external quality improvement activities.
• Drive data analytics efforts to identify improvement areas, understand marketplace and member/provider behaviors, and evaluate program effectiveness for CAHPS metrics.
• Synthesize multiple data streams to develop a comprehensive view of the 'member experience' and identify high-risk members.
• Align internal and external action plans with the organization's overarching CAHPS strategy.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing operational metrics and develop new metrics as necessary to assess performance in achieving CAHPS targets.

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the healthcare field, with at least 5 years working with CAHPS or other 'member experience' metrics.
• Expert knowledge of CAHPS measures and a strong understanding of HEDIS, QARR, and Star reporting processes.
• Superior oral, written, and communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate data to varied audiences.
• Solid analytical and logical skills, paired with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to function well independently and in a team setting, with a strong focus on collaboration and open communication.
