Join Our Team as a Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in a home and community setting, providing functional rehabilitation and promoting independence.

About the Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for performing evaluations and developing treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will also be responsible for regularly reassessing the effectiveness of treatment plans, attending staffing meetings and family conferences, and communicating patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members.

Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans and make recommendations for improvement
  • Attend staffing meetings and family conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
  • Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations
  • Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
