About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical expertise in command and control, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, electronic warfare, information warfare, and national to tactical integration systems. With minimal oversight, this position assesses, plans, coordinates, schedules, and supports moderately sized projects to determine technical capability and feasibility.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide specialized technical expertise and engineering activities to projects, including requirements analysis, functional analysis, design solutions formulation, systems analysis and control, support to generation and maintenance of systems architecture products, requirements definition, architecture design, data analysis, and continuous verification and validation of requirements from concept to transition.
  2. Apply system engineering principles and procedures to translate quantified needs/requirements into system performance parameters and the identification of system/item configuration.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation such as specifications, engineering drawings, system interface requirements, and engineering changes.

This position involves providing technical advice to government personnel and collaborating with cross-functional teams regarding policies, procedures, and practices. Exceptional oral and written communication skills are necessary to effectively manage projects in this environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, computer science, or engineering, or 10 years experience as a system engineer in lieu of a degree.
  • Six (6) years of progressive engineering experience with a strong focus on ISR, EW, IW, and National to Tactical integration systems, including development of acquisition documentation, testing criteria, corrective action systems, project monitoring approaches, and project status reports.
  • Data collection and analysis.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
  • Effective communication capabilities, both written and verbal, adept at conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • An active and in-scope TS/SCI security clearance is required.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the level of experience required.
