Job Title: Taxation Expert

The McDonald Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Taxation Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced professional to prepare tax returns using tax software, primarily for pass-through entities and trusts.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tax returns for various clients using tax software
  • Analyze financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
  • Research and resolve return-related issues during both tax compliance and through the year
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms for review and execution of prepared returns
  • Communicate effectively with taxing authorities
  • Manage payment of tax liabilities and coordinate quarterly tax estimates
  • Perform deal-related tax analysis and other general accounting duties as determined by senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tax preparation and research
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
