Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Homewatch CareGivers of Jupiter. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to our clients within their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living: Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs in accordance with the care plan and qualifications of HHA or CNA.
  • Support Safe and Comfortable Living Environment: Assist clients with activities of daily living in a safe and beneficial manner, promoting a comfortable and secure living environment.
  • Communicate Effectively: Clearly and effectively communicate with clients, family, and staff as necessary, ensuring open and transparent communication.
  • Report and Address Safety Concerns: Report and address any potential safety concerns promptly, ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.
  • Assist with Light Housekeeping Duties: Assist with light housekeeping duties as needed, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least one year experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility preferred.
  • Certifications: Hold, or able to obtain, a HHA certificate including Palm Beach County HHA Badge or CNA license.
  • Skills: Must be able to function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the client. Must accept responsibility for maintaining skills and learning on an ongoing basis, as well as adhering to agency policies.
