Job Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting physicians in the performance of diagnostic procedures by preparing patients and operating PET equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures
  • Operate PET equipment to obtain diagnostic scans
  • Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Minimum of one year of experience in PET
  • Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB - RT(N) or CNMT
  • Certified and registered in PET by NMTCB – CNMT(PET)
  • IV Credentialed
  • Applicable State License
