Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cafe Dishwasher at Black Oak Casino Resort. As a key member of our dining services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Support: Transport food and beverage products, equipment, and furniture to and from dining and storage areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain effective working relationships and provide excellent guest service with all team members and guests.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean dishware, production equipment, and floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Remove trash from work areas and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in replenishing and restocking buffet and side stations.
  • Receiving and Storage: Assist in receiving and putting food products away in storage areas.
  • General Maintenance: Assist in maintaining general dining areas and storage areas.
  • Team Support: Assist other team members when needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Age and Work Permit: Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid work permit.
  • Certifications: Must complete Food Handler or ServSafe certification or have proof of current certification.
  • Communication Skills: Must have the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
  • Appearance and Attire: Must present a clean, well-groomed appearance and wear the appropriate uniform.
  • Personality and Attitude: Must possess a cooperative and friendly nature.
  • Gaming License: Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
  • Drug Test: Must pass a mandatory drug test.
  • Employment Eligibility: Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Language Skills: Must possess the ability to communicate proficiently in English and follow directions effectively.
Physical Demands
  • Lifting and Carrying: Must be physically able to perform all job requirements, including lifting at least 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to work in a non-smoke-free environment, a noisy environment, and outside in all weather conditions.
