Job Summary
We are seeking a Night Shift Grocery Clerk to join our team at GetGo Café + Market. As a Night Shift Grocery Clerk, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and efficient shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean store environment, prioritizing the well-being of customers, team members, and products.
- Ring up customers' orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Finalize sales and collect payments, ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
- Assist with restocking shelves, maintaining inventory levels, and reporting out-of-stock items to management.
- Monitor the fueling area, preventing drive-offs and ensuring safe use of gasoline containers.
- Maintain equipment, counters, floors, restrooms, and exterior areas to meet safety and sanitation regulations.
- Comply with state and local laws regarding cigarette sales and follow all coupon-handling procedures.
- Assist team members in maintaining store security and understand how to sell lottery tickets and gift cards.
- Support the kitchen area as needed.
Requirements
- 0-6 months of retail experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Age requirement: at least 18 years old
Compensation
$16.00 starting rate of pay
