Night Auditor

The Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of guest accounts by balancing departmental income. This position requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage the front desk during the night shift, providing exceptional guest service and maintaining the safety and security of the hotel.

• Verify the correctness of guest accounts by balancing each department's income
• Post room and tax, and local phone charges to guest folios
• Receive and record guest payments
• Prepare revenue reports to include all day rates
• Prepare the Housekeeper's Report, listing the status of check-outs, stay-over, vacant, and out-of-order rooms for the night just ended
• Assign rooms in a courteous and efficient manner to all incoming guests
• Maintain the daily walk-in reservation count sheet
• Provide information to guests in a courteous manner
• Know and follow policies and procedures in emergency situations

• Hotel Night Auditor experience preferred
• Prior Hotel Guest Services Representative strongly preferred
• Ability to process math calculations
• Office skills and technology, accounting/bookkeeping preferred

The Night Auditor will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, frequently sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires frequent bending, stair climbing, and use of fine motor skills.
