About the Role

Radiology Associates of Ocala is seeking a Diagnostic Equipment Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of diagnostic imaging equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing system failures or malfunctions.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our team of radiologists, technologists, and managers to ensure the highest level of care and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair system failures or malfunctions in diagnostic imaging equipment
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan
  • Provide technical support to staff members and vendors
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field (e.g., electronics, computer science)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in medical imaging or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment and regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA)
Estimated Salary Range:

$50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
