Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to play a critical role in our supply chain operations. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for searching for and negotiating contracts with suppliers and manufacturers, securing high-quality components at the best total cost of ownership. You will craft detailed purchase orders and inventory reports using the purchasing queue, placing orders based on due dates to ensure timely delivery.

- Craft detailed purchase orders and inventory reports using the purchasing queue
- Place orders based on due dates to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor purchase orders and work closely with the operations team to resolve supply chain issues
- Evaluate purchase price variances and compare the purchase price against the standard cost to ensure optimal inventory levels
- Guide the MRP system to less experienced users and offer backup support to your peers in Operations
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with Made 2 Manage or other ERP Systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and accurate data entry skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Associate or bachelor's degree (preferred)
- ISM/APICS certification (preferred)
