Supervisory Recreation Fee Technician

This position is located in Grand Teton National Park, within the Business & Administrative Division. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading a team of recreation fee technicians and clerks, ensuring the collection of appropriate fees at entrance stations in accordance with accountability guidelines. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to provide current and accurate information to visitors.

• Collect fees at entrance stations and determine visitor eligibility for the sale of various park passes.
• Maintain accountable stock and serve as a front-line representative of the park.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and operate equipment to collect fees and track various forms of payment.
• Prepare reports, including remittance reports, shift reports, and visitor use statistics.

This position typically works at an entrance station, campground office, fee office, remit office, visitor center, and/or visitor contact station. The work environment may be subject to extremes of temperature, rain, snow, wind, and direct sunlight.

• At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service.
• Experience in leading and training others in collecting fees, operating electronic cash registers, and completing shift reports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
