About Our Units:
- Geropsychiatric Unit: A specialized 29-bed facility dedicated to the unique needs of geriatric patients with co-occurring cognitive and psychiatric disorders.
- Acute Care Medical Unit: A 45-bed unit focusing on various medical specialties, including sepsis, respiratory issues, diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions, oncology, and end-of-life care.
Role Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality care tailored to the complex needs of patients.
- Creating and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment for both patients and their families.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care across shifts.
- Engaging patients and families in goal setting and care planning.
- Utilizing evidence-based practices to guide clinical decision-making.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN, with preference for BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire or a compact state.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification during orientation and maintain it throughout employment.
- Preferred ACLS certification and aggression de-escalation training.
