Nurse Practitioner Med/Surg Opportunity at Essentia Health

Essentia Health, a leading integrated health system, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join its team in the Med/Surg department at Essentia Deer River Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with fellow caregivers, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Salary & BenefitsWe offer an attractive salary package, including an estimated $ $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement/assistance program, paid time off, 401k with annual match, life and disability insurance options, and adoption assistance.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient care while contributing to the meeting of the mission and goals of Essentia Health.
Required Skills & QualificationsTo be successful in this position, you will need:
- A BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school of nursing;
- A current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing;
- BCLS certification or ability to become certified within one month from date of hire;
- ACLS certification or ability to become certified within one year from date of hire;
- CALS or TNCC certification within one year from date of hire;
- ENPC or PALS certification or ability to become certified within one year from date of hire;

FTE & Shift DetailsThis full-time opportunity comes with a FTE of 0.6, with possible remote/hybrid options. The shift rotation includes day and night shifts, with varied start and end times. Weekends and holidays are also required, but no call obligation is involved. This role is part of the Deer River MNA RNs (DRH MNA) union, with a posting deadline of September 16th, 2024.
