Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented DSP RF Algorithm Engineer to leverage your expertise in signal processing to advance innovative technologies that bolster national defense. Your analytical skills will be pivotal in tackling complex challenges faced by the Department of Defense (DoD) and conveying critical insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your understanding of intricate systems to model and analyze foreign radar threats, antennas, and communication networks.
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of airborne system detectability and perform survivability assessments of threat platforms for future military operations.
  • Engage in modeling and simulation tasks using programming languages such as Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.
  • Contribute to the development of detailed models and simulations that inform DoD strategies for enhancing operational effectiveness against adversarial systems.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in signal processing, encompassing Fourier analysis, filtering techniques, modulation methods, or DSP algorithms.
  • Proficiency in RF engineering principles.
  • Experience in programming with MATLAB, Java, C++, or Python.
  • Familiarity with military or commercial software-defined radios (SDRs).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with RF testing equipment, including spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
  • Knowledge of RF propagation, antennas, and modulation schemes.
  • Familiarity with X-midas and machine learning algorithms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
