Position Overview:
Spherion is seeking skilled powder coating specialists to support the launch of a new powder coating line. These positions are direct hire opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by performing necessary cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Operate airless spray equipment to apply powder coating to metal surfaces.
- Ensure adequate coverage and thickness of the powder coating.
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve optimal results.
- Inspect finished products for quality, performing touch-ups or rework as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with additional tasks as required.

Working Hours:
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with welding, machining, and materials handling is beneficial.
- Experience operating a crane is a plus.

Education:
No formal degree required.

Experience:
1-4 years in a related field.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in powder coating.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with power tools.
- Experience in assembly and disassembly of components.
- Proficient in airless paint spraying techniques for powder coating application.
- Ability to interpret work orders and follow instructions accurately.
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality control.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
