Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical components, and more according to specified guidelines.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation to construct products to those specifications.
- Operate various machines and hand tools to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain logs, records, and reports related to production, machine upkeep, and product discrepancies.
- Inspect products per company standards to ensure quality and uniformity; address any identified issues and notify the line supervisor.
- Uphold a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Manage inventory of supplies by monitoring stock levels; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; and confirming receipt of supplies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in production or assembly is preferred.
- Familiarity with small hand tools is essential.
- Strong hand-eye coordination is required.
- Ability to distinguish between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
- Proficient problem-solving skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and perform repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity is necessary for assembling products as instructed.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Safety-conscious individuals are a must; PPE is mandatory at all times while on duty.
