We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team at NYC Health Hospitals. As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will be responsible for providing neuropsychological and psychological services to patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and provide treatment recommendations to patients with cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions.
- Provide clinical supervision to mental health trainees and participate in research projects and program development.
- Organize and lead cognitive remediation group therapy and provide didactic training to mental health trainees.
- Participate in departmental meetings and grand rounds to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in neuropsychology and behavioral health.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Clinical Health Psychology, or Neuro-Psychology from a New York State Education Department-registered program.
- One year of satisfactory full-time experience in a supervisory capacity in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Clinical Health Psychology, or Neuro-Psychology in an approved agency or institution.
- Valid license as a Psychologist issued by the New York State Department of Education.
