Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Professional to join our team at Star Auto Group. As a Certified Hyundai Technician, you will be responsible for examining and diagnosing vehicles, discussing repairs with our shop foreman or service advisor, and communicating additional service requests to our service advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and diagnose vehicles to identify areas of repair
  • Discuss repair options with our shop foreman or service advisor
  • Communicate additional service requests to our service advisor
  • Plan work in cooperation with our shop foreman
  • Provide labor estimates to our service advisor
  • Monitor repair time and update our service advisor
  • Maintain strict adherence to our dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
  • Complete detailed documentation for client repairs
  • Assist in mentoring technician trainees
  • Attend company and factory training sessions
  • Stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training
  • Operator Driver's License and State Inspection License
