Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessing and monitoring patient condition, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including ordering and administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin or compact state.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
