Family Practice Physician Opportunity

A Family Medicine physician is needed in a community clinic in Northern California, serving the rural area of Cottonwood, 15 minutes south of Redding. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing quality patient care and contributing to the growth of the clinic.
About Our Clinic:
- We are a well-established rural health clinic with two locations in Northern California.
- Our clinic has been dedicated to serving the local community for over 60 years.
- The surrounding areas offer easy access to Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Sacramento, and the Coast within a 3-hour drive.
- We have a diverse team of 130 staff members and 26 providers who work together to provide exceptional patient care.
Compensation:
- The annual salary ranges from $235,000 to $275,000, guaranteed in the first year, followed by a performance-based model from the second year onwards.
- We offer comprehensive benefits, including 100% medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), and life insurance.
- A relocation allowance of $20,000 is provided to support your move to the area.
- A sign-on bonus totaling $300,000 per year is offered, paid out in three installments: $150,000 upfront, $50,000 at the end of year two, and $50,000 at the end of year three.
- CME expenses up to $2,500 per year are covered.
- We sponsor J1 & H1B visas to support international candidates.
Work-Life Balance:
- You will join a team of four other Family Medicine physicians.
- The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- The call schedule is 1:3, with RNs taking initial calls.
- Average number of calls per physician is one every three months, handled over the phone.
- No hospital call, nights, or weekends are required.
- This position offers an excellent balance between work and personal life.
- You will see 18-24 patients per day.
- Full lab and X-ray services are available on-site.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine.
- MD/DO degree.
