About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team at Infosys. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex software systems using Java 8, JEE, Microservices, and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software systems using Java 8, JEE, Microservices, and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and system tests using JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Postman.
  • Work with Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software products on time.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve software development processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in software development using Java 8, JEE, Microservices, and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging systems like Kafka, relational and NoSQL databases, and application design.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in software development using Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Domain-Driven Design.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools, container orchestration technologies, and middleware like Kafka, Reddis, and SFTP.
  • Knowledge of financial industry and experience with open-source frameworks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners.
