We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry Unit, where you will provide high-quality patient care to patients with complex cardiac conditions. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care to patients with post-open heart surgical patients, post-cardiac interventional procedures, and pre- and post-stroke patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current IL RN license.
- BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with agreement for nurses with less than 12 months of experience to enroll in BSN completion program.
- One year of nursing experience on a med/surg and/or telemetry unit.
- Current AHA CPR certification.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts.
The Telemetry Unit is a fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
